![]() ![]() Is there a way to assign German keyboard layout to the US English input source So I can type English using the physical German keyboard. Under Preferred languages, click Add a language. Typing on the host will result in an english keyboard layout on the host, switching to english layout (Alt+Shift) will lead to the german keyboard layout. If I change the input source to US English, Mac would not recoginze the German keyboard layout (i.e. (The codes I've mentioned are "set 1" scan codes, as used in the scan code field in MS Windows WM_KEYDOWN etc messages.
